The Advanced Academics department at Alief Taylor High School oversees Alief AAC, Advanced Placement, and UT OnRamps courses.  

We also administer the PSAT exam in the Fall to 9th, 10th and 11th graders, and the SAT exam in the Spring to our 11th graders.  The Advanced Academics department is also responsible for our Gifted & Talented students/testing.
